The VT Boys had fun

The VT Boys always have fun and last weekend was great. Mr. Biscuits like to play with VT Girl No.3 and she always looks forward to see him. Mr. Garfield like to relax and play some games or talk to his friends on Skype or does it all at the same time.

The weather was not great so we did some computer repair jobs and we upgraded a computer to Windows Vista Business not the greatest operating system but it was legal on this eMachine.

The VT Boys Are Complete

Last week The VT Boys were all together which doesn't happy that often, not only they had a sleep over for the weekend we also had a surprise phone call from VT Boy No3 (Mr Mac Junior) if it was okay to come for dinner. Luckily we always make plenty of food, so that was no problem at all. For dinner had had planned Babi Bangang with green beans which Mr Garfield really enjoys.

During the day Mr Biscuits had lots of jobs to do, he had to build 2 Hewlett Packard Micro Servers with Windows Small Business Server 2011 - and what a fantastic job he did. On Sunday he rebuild and cleaned a Intel Duo Core eMachines which he took apart, upgraded a few hard drives and installed the original OS back on the computer (Microsoft Vista Home edition)

In the evening we played a few games Dirt 3 with our new Microsoft Wireless Xbox 360 controller. On Sunday we played more games and had Shepard's Pie for lunch which we all very much enjoyed.

The VT Boys have a birthday

The VT Boys had another Birthday to celebrate, as Mr Garfield turns to be 17 years old, the age he can start drive a car, have a part time job and is nearly an adult. It seems not so long ago, that I was changing his nappy and helping him eat beans which he did not like much then, now he loves them anything with tomatoes will do for him.

He turns out to be a fine young man, with lots going for him, he is loved by many people, has lots of friends and like going to college. One of his favorite activities are playing computer games all sorts, from racing to strategic ones and he is very good. Recently he finished the new Lara Croft Tom Raider game in 33 hours flat.

This year it was easy to choose a birthday present for him, because he knew what he wanted, a new super duper gaming mouse, this mouse is fully programmable, it has waits and lots of lights on it. Next time when the VT Boys come, he will bring his ones computer and demonstrate how the mouse works.   

The VT Boys set a landmark

Mac Mac Junior Apple Airport WiFi layout

Today one of the VT Boys have set a landmark in his life, Mac Mac Junior is 21 years old, Mr. Mac Senior can still remember to day Mr.Mac Junior was born, time flights so hard unbelievable. Mr.Mac Junior has a good job, lives in a nice house and got his act all together, and he is even helping his dad, by letting stay over at his place when the snow was very bad in Norwich.We had a nice evening out, a lovely meal and a good film for afters at his place, the next morning we drove together to work and in the evening he drove me back to home and pickup me up the next morning, so I don't have to drive in the snow.

He has come a long way from this little man I was able to hold in one hand because he was 6 weeks premature at berth, he was 8 months when we moved from Amsterdam to England, and I was lucky to be able to look after him for 6 months, before I started work here, this will always be special between us.

The VT Boys Celebrating New Year

The VT Boys Celebrating New Year in Norfolk this year, the day started very early 6:00am, however that is very normal as usually we wake up this time anyway because one of the VT Girls wakes us up. After getting dressed we set off to Mr Mac's work, but not before we had breakfast at Mac Donalds, Mr Biscuits had a big breakfast and Mr. Garfield and Mr.Mac had a Breakfast wrap with everything in it.

At 8:00am we arrived at work and to our surprise it was very busy and all the plans we had set out to do we did't had time for anymore. Never mind we had plenty of time to take a few laptops apart and play games on the computers around the office.

In the evening we downloaded Policy Academy 2 and had lots of chocolates on the sofa to eat, it was almost 12:00 when the film was finished and another new year started - Happy New Year VT Boys. This was the moment we have been all waiting for - it was steak time, a good start of the new year, a tradition in the VT household - yummy.

The VT Boys having a late Christmas

The VT Boys having a late Christmas this year, but we don't mind that, as for this year they having a long sleepover which is great. After a lovely drive we came home and we opened the presents we had saved up, we love this part.

Mr Biscuits started and opened up his first present a new iPod touch cover, his second present was a USB 16 LED light, which works in his laptop, but we found out it works also in our telly. Mr.Mac does not like guns or things that shoot, however he know that Mr Biscuits does, so he is been given a crossbow which is really powerful and great fun.

Mr. Biscuits also likes to play DJ, so for his big present he had a Portable USB DJ mixing kit, with Virtual DJ software, it is very easy to us - he love it.

Mr.Garfield has been given a iTunes voucher because he like to purchase music, apps and films from the iTunes store for his iPhone, a new Adidas T-Shirt and some super duper headphones, because music is also a big thing for him.

We had lots of jobs to do over the next 4 days, all is action packed and we also going to spend 1 day at Mr Mac work in Norwich, to do a few bits there.

The VT Boys like the iPad Mini

The VT Boys have a new Apple gadget - the new iPad Mini Wifi and we love it, we think it is better than the original iPad first generation, it is faster, it has a camera's front and back and the games look amazing on it. Mr.Biscuits could not stop playing with it, and soon he downloaded a Slow-Mo app to make all sorts of funny video's with it. We also are able to control all other computers in the house, whatever they are Mac's or Windows PCs, even Virtual PCs are to be controlled with ease.

The weather was bad again so we had no opportunity to go outside, so we played with the Duplo and we watched a film called The Bucket List, and our highlight of the day was Babi Bangang, because we had fresh supplies from Holland shipped over to our house, Jodekoeken are also popular and Wokkels of course.

We had great fun this weekend, and VT Girl no.3 likes to have her bigger brothers around. Mr.Biscuits was not feeling to well this weekend because had was very busy the day before with his scouts, hopefully he will feel better soon.
