The VT Boys like Building and Eating

The VT Boys like building and eating, because from all that building we get very hungry. It is always busy in the weekends, we have lots to do. This weekend we had to get rid of some rubbish, some old boxes we had and the old bathroom stuff, so the VT Boys drove to the rubbish tip and dumped it all, we had to drive two times, but we don't care. After we washed the car, so it was nice and clean.

After all this we had some lunch and a ice-cream. In the afternoon we took out the meccano, because we love building things, we also had the Lego out, not at the same time of course.

After all of this, dinner was served and we had Chicken Kiev with potatoes out of the garden - yummy. We had some time spare so we played a few games on the computer. We had a nice drive back and talked a lot in the car. We won't see each other for a while as some of the VT Boys go on holiday, but the next time we see one another we spend 4 days together.

Last week the two oldest VT boys spend some time together, having dinner (Indian) lovely. We also discussed how to make the WI-FI better at his house. We came up with a plan and the next day all was in place and it was all working better. Of course we used Apple kit (two Airport extremes) and everything is flying again. We also watched a film (Safe House with Denzel Washington) which was very good.

The VT Boys have a news update

The Vt Boys have a quick news update, as this morning Mr.Mac received Mr.Biscuits school report in the post. Well what can he say, only that he is very proud and that Mr.Biscuits is doing really well at school, all is very positive and ITC skills are excellent, no surprise there then.

Next week Mr.Mac is going to his school for parent evening and I am sure all is going to be okay,
I am looking forward to this. Well done Mr.Biscuits.

The VT Boys have done lots and lots

The VT Boys have done lots over the last few months, it has been a busy time. The weather has been bad and we had to occupy ourselves a lot at home, but we don't mind as we always have something to do.

Mr.Garfield is now on holiday and he is starting college in September studying ITC just like his big brother, and hopefully do something similar like Mr.Mac or Mr.Mac Junior. He is also a proud owner of a new iPhone 4s which he really likes, so Mr.Biscuits now has his old iPod Touch so he can also mobile internet and playing games.

Mr.Garfield is going over the next few week trying to see if he can get a job somewhere local, to earn a extra bit of money to fund stuff for college or some gadgets he likes to buy. Later this month he and Mr.Biscuits are going on a holiday to Spain to take some well deserved rest. They also coming to Mr.Mac for a 4 day break and have some fun, hopefully we can get away and see the sea side or go to Wells Next to the sea and do a bit of crab fishing, as this is well overdue.

The times the VT Boys have been together is been filled with cooking, eating and playing with computers, we also have been playing with our latest Apple Gadget the New Sandy Bridge Mac i5 Mac Mini. This machine serves as a Media Centre but can double up as gaming machine (Minecraft) or browsing the internet, it has plenty of storage for films, music and games.

Mr.Biscuits is doing really well at school and likes helping out his teacher with all the ITC equipment in the school, he hopefully is designing a database so he can keep track of all his jobs he is been doing or have outstanding to do. He is also been helping Mr.Mac with setting up new computers or just try to repair them. Something made Mr.Mac really proud the other day, when Mr.Biscuits told him he like to do the same job like his dad to become a computer engineer.

Last week the VT Boys have been to a BBQ Party from one of Mr.Mac's friends, VT Girl No.3 also joined the party. We had a great time and the food was great. Later on Mr.Mac Junior with his girlfriend came along and all the VT Boys have been joined together again. Mr. Garfield liked to sample all sorts of food, while Mr.Biscuits liked to play with the smoking machine and the disco lights.

Next week we are together again and we all looking forward to that.

The VT Boys enjoy being together

The VT Boys enjoy each others company and we always make the most out of it, The weather has not been good to us, so most of the time we are in the home doing all sorts of things. Last weekend we had some clearing up to do because we bought a new sofa in the living room.

We also have been playing with our new iTunes Server build from a old G4 Power Mac mirrored door, this is running really well, however it makes a lot of noise, so to have it on all time, is not a good idea.

For dinner we enjoyed a lovely roast, and of course we had ice cream for afters, hopefully the weather will be better so we can do something outside the house, because crab fishing time is coming up, so hopefully next month we are ready with our nets and buckets.

This weekend the VT Boys had a sleep over which was great, as we be all together for two whole days and we don't have to rush and do all things in one day. The day started be doing some shopping for supplies and the get our meat loaf for lunch.

After lunch we had some time to get some new games installed on the iMac and to try them out, we also watched a film in the afternoon and for dinner we had Babi Pangang and Indonesian Green Beans which Mr.Garfield really liked. In the evening Mr.Garfield and Mr.Mac watched Knight and Day on Blu-Ray which was not a bad film.

In the morning we had all breakfast and watch Top Gear on Netflix and afters we all had a shower so that we be clean before the big lunch (Roast Dinner with all the trimmings) thanks to VT Girl No.1. after lunch Mr.Biscuits made a new song on Garage Band and we tested out Microsoft Windows 8 on the Laptop.

For dinner we all had bagels and cake and we played some more games, one thing was really good, Mr.Biscuits completed the Nurnberg Ring on Need for Speed Shift in a record time. One our way back home we played the latest Album of Approaching Nirvana (Blocking the Sky).

Last week Mr.Mac and Mr.Mac Junior spend some time together and had a lovely take away from the Indian in Norwich and we talked a lot and had some time to watch Tron Legacy in the Home Cinema with fantastic sound and picture.

This weekend was great as all the VT Boys have been together, including the newest member VT Girl in Law, she is coming rapidity a member of the family. After a nice drive back to Norfolk we had lunch (Toasties) and we installed a new game on the iMac called Ridge Racer Unbounded which is very good.

While Mr.Garfield was playing the game, Mr.Biscuits and Mr.Mac have started clearing up under the bed all the old computer stuff, lots of spare parts we don't need any more and needed to be put in the bin. We also cleared up all the old cables, and some bits Mr.Mac Junior took home.

This is how it looks after leaving it for 45 minutes

After all this hard work we had to make a old dutch traditional batter doughnut with dried raisins, making it was easy, use one pack of oliebollen mix, 500ml hand warm water, and 250gr raisins, mix it all together and leave it for 45 minutes to rest. Warm up the oil and drop little batter balls in it and fry for 3-4 minutes each - ready.

We had mixed reactions on the taste  - Mr Mac Junior, Mr. Biscuits liked it but Mr.Garfield was not to keen only because of the raisins in it, never mind next time we can make them without as well. After all this eating we had a little time to play the latest Minicraft games and it was time to go back to Cambridgeshire. Next week the VT Boys have a sleep over so we will have lots of fun.

A few weeks ago one of the VT Boys have been missing, as he was asked out by one of his friends to celebrate his birthday going paint balling, of course he did not wanted to miss this opportunity and looking at the photos he had a great time.

So it was just Mr.Biscuits and me, but that was no problem as we always have something to do and this weekend was no different, however driving back to our home he was allowed to sit in the front seat of the car and he was controlling all the music as well.

Lunch was served at home and after lunch we played with some computers of course and Mr.Biscuits installed a fresh copy of OSX Leopard on the new Apple G4 1.25Ghz Power Mac. We played some games with the little angel. Next time Mr.Garfield we be present which will be great.
