The VT Boys reunited briefly at the sea

The VT Boys reunited briefly at the sea a few weeks ago which was great. It took VT Girl No.1-3 and me 4 hours to drive from Norfolk to Bognor - it was well worth it as we met up with Mr.Garfield and his girlfriend for the first time.
We started of to have some lunch at Pizza Hut we ordered lots and all of us had a great time catching up with each other. We drove the car to the sea side and had a lovely walk on the beach. It is very unusual for me as I don't walk that much normally, however it did not mind it because the weather was great and so was the company.
We also had a nice walk through the park - and encountered a squirrel on our way - please see the picture below.

Hopefully it would not be to long before we see Mr.Garfield again.

The VT Boys are playing with drone's

The VT Boys have been playing with remote control Drone's a few weeks ago, which was a lot of fun. Mind you it takes a lot of skill to control these things and we had several goes before we mastered it. We have some video footage which will post next time.
At the moment we down to two VT Boys because Mr.Mac Junior and Mr.Garfield are both doing their own thing, I am sure ones awhile we will be all together and we will post that on this blog. It is great seeing all the VT Boys growing up and I am really happy that all goes well. Mr Garfield currently lives in Bognor Regis on the sea with his lovely girlfriend and is actively looking for some work. I am sure whatever he will do will be a success.

Mr.Mac Junior is very busy with his job, running around the country, repairing big printers and setting up new computer systems as a onsite computer engineer. He also gets a new car in the next few weeks as he is doing a lot of miles every year.

The VT Boys had a birthday

The VT Boys had a birthday last weekend and this time it was Mr.Gadget turn, he 13 years old now and he growing up very fast. Mr.Gadget had lots of cards here and at home in Cambridge, presents and some money.
He wanted a birthday cake - so we got him one, chocolate flake, he loved it. We got him a bible and we hope one day he will pick it up and start reading it, it is the best book he will ever read. Time is going fast and Mr.Gadget is the only one now left to come over from all the VT Boys every fortnight.
Both Mr.Mac Junior and Mr. Garfield are moved out, have jobs and looking after themselves which is great. Of course we talk a lot over the telephone, txt, iMessage and Skype every week. The VT Boys love each other very much and we always will.

The VT Boys are doing it in HTML

The VT Boys are doing it in HTML this week as Mr.Gadget is teaching himself HTML, which is handy as maybe at some point we will need a website designing. This weekend it was just Mr.Gadget as Mr.Garfield was working in the computer shop, which he enjoys very much.
Before we came home we did some shopping at Tesco's to get some bits for dinner, even when we shop we have great fun and make the most at our time together. We came home and all the VT Girls where happy to see The VT Boys back home.
In the afternoon the whole family watched a very good film with Robin Williams, The Bicentennial Man, after we had dinner and it was time to go back to Wisbech again. Hopefully in the next two weeks Mr.Gadget is going to be better at school, thinking better of others and listen to the teacher better.

The VT Boys have a new family member to look out for

The VT Boys have a new family member to look out for. She is lovely and Mr Garfield is really in love with her. They have celebrated their 5 month anniversary last week and spend a whole week together down south here in the UK. They both have very much in common and talk for hours and hours. All the other VT Boys have met her and we all agree we are very pleased to have her in our family. Hopefully in a months time she will come over to Norfolk and spend a little time with us. We can't wait.

The VT Boys are always making things

The VT Boys are always good in making things, whatever it is, building a new computer, cooking, Lego, Arts and craft or woodwork's. One thing Mr.Gadget is really good at is entertaining his little sister.  Last time Mr.Gadget was at his house in Norfolk he wanted to play with an old Apple iBook, it still works after nearly 10 years and he liked it so much that Mr.Mac Senior gave it to him.

We had a little problem with his Tesco tablet after we installed a new app so we had to un-install it again to make work better again.
We also had time to go to the charity shop to give them some stuff, and of course Mr.Gadget is now coming over alone so he can sit in the front while we driving back home to Cambridgeshire.

The VT Boys got to see a wonderful wedding

The VT Boys got to see a wonderful wedding  - this was a day that could not be missed. It was nice to see the whole family together and the day was absolutely fantastic. The VT Boys all stayed in a near by hotel and Mr.Mac Junior was tasked to look after all of them, which was a great responsibility. Please see http://mydutchapple.blogspot.co.uk/  for a complete report on the day.

The VT Boys are working hard

The VT Boys are working hard, this weekend we paid a visit at Mr.Garfield's work in Spalding as we wanted to see how he was doing. We paid a surprise visit and met some of his colleagues and the boss.
I can see why he loves working in the computer shop, all is very well laid out and very busy. When Mr.Mac looked in the shopping window he saw a Hp Envy 15 ultra notebook the model he always wanted to have. He asked Mr.Garfield to have a look at it because he like to buy it, specially it was reduced to £279.00.
When firing up the laptop all looked very well, but their was one problem with it, the track pad was un-responsive, what a shame. Mr.Garfield will have a look at it but I think it needs a new track pad and that means it needs a new keyboard as well, as the track pad and keyboard are integrated. Never mind it was nice to see him enjoying himself, because IT is not only our work it is also our hobby.

The VT Boys did some camping indoors

The VT Boys did some camping indoors last week, as Mr Gadget took a tent with him to play with VT Girl No.3. See loved it and was right in her element, we did not see her for two days. She love playing with her bigger brother. The two VT Boys left also had some quality time together, watching some TV and we talked about lots of things we normally don't talk about.
From now on only Mr.Gadget will come over as the two other VT Boys are working and growing up doing things for themselves. That is progress and we are all very happy about it.

The VT Boys had a big trip together

The VT Boys had a big trip together a few weeks ago, Mr.Garfield was going to see his girlfriend in Bongor Regis down by Portsmouth. We all set of early in the morning and of course we had to have breakfast at Mc.Donalds first. After we drove of to the motorway and we played all sorts of music in the car.

This was the first time he was going to see his girlfriend and he was very excited to see her, after 4 hours drive we arrived and Mr.Garfield was very happy and so was his girlfriend. I was on standby just in case he wanted to come home, but all was good. Mr Garfield did a lot of eating out, site seeing and when't to the cinema. The next following week we pick him up again and it was sad that he had to go. He is now looking forward to go over again next time, but this time by train.

It has gone really fast - he send the job application of on Saturday - got a call on Tuesday - job interview on Thursday and started the next following Tuesday on his first day - wow.
All the VT Boys and Girls are very happy for him, and already he was able the share some of the pictures taken at his work desk - He is learning a lot repairing all sorts of computers from Lenovo's to Apples - we are all really proud of him.

The VT Boys had their first BBQ of this year

The VT Boys had their first BBQ of this year  - and we kept it really simple, just sauces and burgers yummy. It was of course Mt.Gadget who like to cook on the BBQ and Mr.Garfield likes to eat it. We had a lovely day and we had too much food as usual.

For the rest was it a very relaxed weekend, with playing plenty of games and lots of talking about how to move on in life, On Sunday we when't to church and we stayed behind for some drinks and snacks for afters. We also spend some time with Mr.Garfield to get his CV in order and send off his first real job application for a job working for a small computer shop in Spalding. Lets hope he gets a job interview - we all keep our fingers crossed.
