The VT Boys are minus one or two

This weekend the VT Boys are minus one or two, it depends how you look at it. Mr.Mac Junior is doing some work in Cornwall, picking up a few printers for repair, but that is good as he has the chance to see his sister in Plymouth on Sunday.

Mr Garfield is spending a few days with is friend, as his parents are away so they have the whole house for them selfs, playing games and watching films etc. So it was just Mr Biscuits who came to Norfolk for the day, but that was alright as we always have lots to do.
We had a few upgrades do to, first of all we needed to replace a normal 250Gb SATA HDD in a Mid 2010 MacBook Pro with a 256Gb SSD from Sandisk. These kind of jobs Mr.Biscuits loves to do, opening computers and learn how to fix or upgrade them. Please see photos of the upgrade below.
Also he was looking forward playing with the Play Station 3 which was setup in the living room, connected to the sound bar playing full HD and Dolby Digital 5.1 surround sound. Mr.Biscuits played lots of times with Grand Turismo 5 and a few other games.

As it was Mr.Biscuits turn to choose what to eat for dinner, we made his favourite meal, chicken in white wine sauce and white rice. Next time the VT Boys will be complete, however we all growing up and sometimes we are not all together, but it is nice when we are.

The VT Boys are creative

The VT Boys are always creative, we do lots of things and make lots, whatever it is fooling around with computer equipment, building or upgrading new machines, making clocks out of old or spare Apple equipment or build things with Lego or Maccano.

Yesterday Mr.Biscuits found an old Apple G4 computer fan in our spare parts Apple box, he suggested  we make a clock out of it, so he did some thinking and before we knew it we had a design and we started working on the clock (See picture below). Well I must say it turned out to be brilliant and he was very proud of his work.

We had planned to do a BBQ yesterday, but as the weather turned out to be rubbish, we did a pretend indoor one, we made some quarter pounders with cheese, sauce and chips, this was lovely and we had Magnums ice-creams for afters.

In the afternoon we watched a film with the whole family and Mr.Biscuits has been doing his home work for school which Mr.Mac Senior helped him with, not that he had to do anything other than giving him some numbers so he could work out the answers - he made not one mistake.

Mr.Biscuits even had time to build a car out of Maccano (see picture below) Mr. Garfield has been doing some gaming on the big iMac upstairs while talking with his friends online via Skype, he loves playing with the Mac, even better now it runs Windows 8 Professional.

The VT Boys had lots to do

This weekend the VT Boys had lots to do, as they had a sleepover with Mr.Mac and Mrs.Mac. In the afternoon we had lunch and Mr.Biscuits opted for a Bagel with butter and Mr.Garfield had Jerk chicken with rise as his choice.
We had a little surprise in store for Mr.Biscuits this weekend as he was given a MacBook Air to play with, not to keep, but to test drive it for Mr.Mac Senior, as he wanted to know if it was fast enough to do day to day work with, well the MacBook was well used over the weekend and never left his side.

We also received a phone call from Mr.Mac Junior, he and his girlfriend wanted to come for visit and stay for dinner with us, which was great as we never met Aisla before, she was very nice and VT Girl No.3 had somebody new to play with.

For dinner we had Babi Pangang Chicken with green beans and rise and home made milkshakes for afters - yummy. We all had a great time and after Mr.Mac Junior left we had time to watch a film (Looper with Bruce Willes) - a great film. We got to bed by 11:15 because VT Girl No.3 always wakes up before 6am in the morning.
