The VT Boys like the iPad Mini

The VT Boys have a new Apple gadget - the new iPad Mini Wifi and we love it, we think it is better than the original iPad first generation, it is faster, it has a camera's front and back and the games look amazing on it. Mr.Biscuits could not stop playing with it, and soon he downloaded a Slow-Mo app to make all sorts of funny video's with it. We also are able to control all other computers in the house, whatever they are Mac's or Windows PCs, even Virtual PCs are to be controlled with ease.
The weather was bad again so we had no opportunity to go outside, so we played with the Duplo and we watched a film called The Bucket List, and our highlight of the day was Babi Bangang, because we had fresh supplies from Holland shipped over to our house, Jodekoeken are also popular and Wokkels of course.
We had great fun this weekend, and VT Girl no.3 likes to have her bigger brothers around. Mr.Biscuits was not feeling to well this weekend because had was very busy the day before with his scouts, hopefully he will feel better soon.

The VT Boys like home made chips & being at home

The VT Boys like being at home here in Norfolk, we always have lots of fun, they like playing with there little sister, building stuff and keeping her entertained, which is not always an easy job to do, but Mr.Biscuits does a great job. I believe we all looking forward to Christmas and New Year, as the VT Boys come over for a massive sleepover.

Not only they are going to stay for 4 days, they also going to work for one day with Mr.Mac and helping to do some jobs for him, both Mr. Garfield and Mr.Biscuits looking really forward to it. If we are lucky we may see Mr.Mac Junior as well.

Two weeks ago both Mr.Mac and Mr.Mac Junior had to take a drive up to Leicestershire to deliver something we had sold on eBay, which was a nice trip out for both of us. Mr.Mac Junior is going out more for his work so Mr.Mac company will look after all his hardware and software. He also has a company van, but maybe next year he will get a VW Golf or even a better car.
Mr.Garfield also had a bit of good news, last week he send out a few letters to companies around Wisbech to see if any jobs where going and one of the companies phoned him up and told him to look online every day because soon a new job will be posted, the man told him if he does, he will get the job. We all hope for the best.
For lunch Mr.Mac made a lovely fry up for everybody and even he managed to eat a bit of beacon himself which he did not do for more than 6 months. For Dinner we had home made chips and chicken from Brasil - why Brasil we don't know, but is was nice and we are still alive. See you again in two weeks VT Boys, be safe and remember your father loves you very much.

The VT Boys had a Birthday

The VT Boys had a birthday it was Mr.Biscuits became 11 years old - wow time is going so fast. It was great as the VT Boys state over for a sleepover so we had lots of time doing nice things. Mr. Biscuits was busy playing with VT Girl No.3 with the Duplo and made so great structures, see some pictures below.

We also have been playing some games of course, we played Need for Speed Most Wanted one of the best racing games you can play at the moment. For dinner we had Chicken in White wine sauce as it is Mr.Biscuits favorite meal. We also spend so time in the garden lighting some sparklers which we all enjoyed very much.

In the evening we watched The A Team on iTunes which is a very funny film. On Sunday we had birthday cake and Mr Biscuits had a iTunes voucher and a family tree poster maker. See you soon again VT Boys.

The VT Boys have been working hard

This week the VT Boys have been working hard, a few weeks ago Mr.Garfield was asked to help out Mr.Mac at his work, as we had 90 Lenovo laptops to be configured for a school in Norfolk. This gave Mr.Garfield the opportunity to earn some money and gave him at the same time work experience.

Mr.Mac has set him a target of 15 laptops a day to be finished, however Mr.Garfield was a lot quicker than that, almost twice faster and before you knew it 92 laptops where done in 4 working days, wow that is very good.
The best of all was that we spend lots of time together and had breakfast at McDonalds a few times, which Mr.Garfield really likes. I am sure next time we have something coming up at work he will be invited again to do some work

The VT Boys like baking cookies

The VT Boys have been busy today, after a wash and breakfast, Mr Biscuits joined us at 12:00 as his mum taxied him over to Norfolk. It was great to see him, and Mr Biscuits had a lot of jobs for Mr.Mac to do as his external hard drive was not working and his laptop needed a re-install of the operating system.
As it turned out is was his hard drive in the caddy which was faulty not the caddy, so we but in a spare 60Gb IDE hard drive and all was working well. The laptop needed a data backup so we put it all on our new HP Proliant Microserver and that was working well too.

30 minutes later the laptop had a new operating system and drives had to be updated, and one hour later all was ready to Rock and Roll. In between we had time to make some cookies and we made all sorts - yummy. For dinner we had Lasagna and chocolate mousse for afters, tonight we are going to watch a film, however we don't know which one to watch yet.

The VT Boys have been building lots op laptops

The Builds
The VT Boys have been very busy this week, Mr.Garfield started his first job building laptops for a school in Norfolk at Mr.Mac work. He has 90 laptops to do and already he has finished 45 of them. He works really hard and I am very proud of him.
33 Laptops ready - 12 more ready in the office - Wow
Mr.Garfield enjoyed the drives to work and working around other people in Mr.Mac company. He has been staying in Mr.Mac's house and we have been watching Men in Black, a very good film.
Laptops leftover to do for next week
The way it looks he will be only coming over for 1 more week, because the rate he is working at, all the laptops will be done next week.

We had some old computers that did not work any more so we drove to the dump and got rid of them.Mr.Mac and Mr.Biscuits had to make some Apple Clocks, Mr.Biscuits really likes making them, this time he made a Apple USB clock and a Aluminium Clock with black Apple logo, they look fantastic.

The VT Boys like meatloaf

The VT Boys like meatloaf, yes we do like to Rock band Meatloaf, but we also like to eat it, yesterday we cooked home made meatloaf which was yummy. We are always busy and this weekend was no exemption, Mr.Biscuits was very good in helping Mr.Mac preparing the ingredients for the meatloaf and in no time it was ready to go in the oven for 1 hour, after this we could not wait to dig in to it, it was lovely we agreed.
In between we also had time to make a Apple clock a new hobby Mr.Mac started a week ago, he already made a few prototypes and both Mr.Garfield and Mr.Biscuits liked all of them. Mr.Biscuits was very busy drilling a whole in the aluminium and soon the clock was ready, this model was much better than the one Mr.Mac made a few days earlier.
Mr.Garfield also had his GCSE results in this week and he worked really hard to get very good results, now in two weeks he will start college which he is looking forward to. Mr.Biscuits has been playing really well with the smallest Angel this weekend and had a lot of fun with the Play-Doh see pictures below.

The VT Boys have been to Hunstanton

Yesterday the VT Boys have been to Hunstanton and we had a great day, the weather was nice and we had no problems parking the car. We had a lovely walk and our little Angel wanted to have a ride on the carrousel which was no problem, however soon it started to move she got scared and wanted to come off, the lady who was operating the carrousel had to stop it midway because she got very scared.

After all this we had some ice-cream to calm our nerves, we walked to the arcade and it was very busy inside, we had a big bag of money which we took from home and started to play on the various machines, no this was great and even our little Angel enjoyed that. after two hour of playing and winning lots of tickets we had enough, so on our way back we had to buy some donuts - lovely you can't go to the seaside without having donuts.

When at home we played for a bit, and Mr.Biscuits kept our little Angel busy upstairs, playing with her new play kitchen, so that Mr.Mac did some housework and prepared the dinner, which was home made lasagne - yummy. Tomorrow we are going to have a easy day, but will spend sometime outside in the garden or going to the park.
