The VT Boys are starting the New Year

This weekend The VT Boys have been taken it easy, after a busy 2010 doing all sorts of things we relaxed in the comfort of our home. For lunch we had lovely oven baked Pannini's with Ham, Cheese and red onion's. 

Mr.Biscuits was trying to get Minecraft working on his virtual machine, but it was not playing ball. Mr.Garfield has been playing Mirror's Edge on the iPad - absolutely a great game. We also installed a new game on the iPad yesterday (Rage) a very intense game, but very good graphics (I believe Mr.Garfield explained to me, this is a Rail motion game)

Mr.Biscuits also gave Mr.Mac his Christmas present (A iPhone Hard protection cover) which he was very pleased with. Of course this weekend Mr.Biscuits had some biscuits, and lots of drinks. Mr.Garfield is going to get his Sony Playstation 3, so he can play even more beautiful games and Blu-Ray movies on his super duper new HD Screen.

In the afternoon we watched IP Man via the Apple TV (Great film) this film was completely in Chinese spoken language with no subtitles but we had no problem understanding what the film was about. This is the story of Ip Man, a legendary Wing Chun Kung Fu master from Fo Shan, China. The film is set in Japanese occupied Fo Shan following Japan's invasion of China during World War II. It recounts specifically one man's opposition the occupying Japanese forces.

For dinner we had Fish, baked beans and mashed potatoes and ice-cream for afters, next week we are going to make pancakes, on request from Mr.Biscuits.

The VT Boys had a double whammy

The VT Boys had a double whammy over the Christmas holidays, and spend New Years Eve together, all the VT Boys (all but one Mr.Mac Jr. was spending it with friends) where together and had a sleep over again, which was great.

As a tradition we watched a film with the whole family (MacGruber) which was very funny, so it was 12 O Clock and the New Year had started, we had a big family hug and Mr Mac. was busy cocking Steak and Bread, another tradition we follow every year. This new year the Mr Garfield and Mr. Biscuits had two little present given to them, Mr.Mac made them two T Shirts with there own individual designs, they loved it.

We all wend late to bed, only to be woken up very early by VT Girl no.3, never mind we knew that it would happen anyway. We spend some time on the XBox 360, made some Sausage rolls and had lovely lasagna for lunch. We know that this year is going to be even better for all of us, because we know that our Father is looking after us all the time.

The VT Boys had a great Christmas Together

The VT Boys had a great Christmas together, with lots of fun and games of course. They already had their presents, Mr Biscuits had some extra to unpack, 3 DVDs all about planets and make your own Solar System kit, he promised the next time he is here to visit he will show some pictures of it when it is finished.

Also Mr.Mac was given a Apple TV from Father Christmas and he is very happy with it, so are the other VT Boys because they can watch You Tube, Films and listen to Music on the big TV, absolutely great.

We had for Christmas a traditional Dutch dish (Boerenkool met Worst) and ice cream for afters, yummy. We had lots to eat and to drink, also one of our favorite things we like to do.

The VT Boys also had a sleep over, but sleeping is a luxury because VT Girl no.3 always wakes up very early, however it was not to bad this time (7:30am). We had lots of fun and we watched Karate Kid on the Apple VT which we all liked very much.
