The VT Boys tried something new

The VT Boys had great fun yesterday first of all because the weather was bad we played some games on the wonderful Macs we own. Then it was time for lunch and we all had Panini's with Ham and Cheese - lovely.
In the afternoon we made fresh Croissants with ham inside, this was the first time we made them, but they turned out to be okay, next time we are going to make them a bit bigger. Mr.Biscuits ask if we can play some board games - yes we still do this in the VT household, so the monopoly board came out and we had 2 hours of fun. Mr Garfield won by a small margin, but Mr.Mac lost all his money (story of my life).

For tea we had Ham & Cheese Kiev's with mash potatoes and sweetcorn. Next weekend it will be a Sunday we all be together again, and the following weekend Mr.Biscuits will be 9 years old. Is he ever going to give up on the Biscuits? I hope not.

The VT Boys did some Shaking & Baking

The VT Boys did pretty well yesterday, the whole day was filled with playing games and cooking, we had a few hours upstairs playing our favourite games and setting up some new virtual machines so that Mr.Biscuits have his own setup and customise his Windows 7 desktop.

Mr.Garfield was playing his new game on the HP and talking with his friends at the same time working out how they were able to win from the other team. After lunch (Hotdogs with ketchup, onions and mayo) we did some cooking, making a two colour cake, this worked out very well and we all had to sample it more than once.

In the afternoon we watched Toy Story 3, which we all liked very much. For tea we had Shake & Bake Chicken with curly fries.

The VT Boys had some graphics issues

Last weekend the VT Boys had some graphics issues to deal with, first of all the computer Mr.Garfield was using was not working well after updating the graphic drivers. But Mr.Mac had a solution to the problem by supplying a new super duper video card for his computer and all works well again. We also had to move some stuff again in the house, the desk with computer stuff moved to the bedroom upstairs to make some room downstairs. The move was done without any problems and within no time Mr. Biscuits was able to play a game on the computer and Mr Garfield was doing the same on the iPad. (see video as proof)
We also tested out our old PC with a new graphic processor but that didn't work so well, so we gave up in the end and left the whole thing as it was. Mr. Biscuits was investigating as new crime with his new police investigation kit and was happy to show us the progress of his findings on this.
We also found some time to eat something and with had a Magnum ice cream for afters. We did say this weekend was going to be easy, however our weekends never are, they are never boring and we always have plenty to do. Only 24 more days till Mr. Biscuits birthday and we all know what that means to him. (Nano is the word that springs to my mind)

The VT Boys had some accidents

Last week Mr.Garfield was given a 19" LCD Flatscreen so he can play his games better on the computer at home, it was not new but still in very good nick. After having it a few days he installed a new game on his computer only to find out that it not work very well. After getting very frustrated with the computer, he threw his keys but instead hitting the desk, he hit the screen - oops. Never mind accidents can happen.

They say that accidents happen in threes - but in Mr.Garfield's case they come in twos. The second accident happened in the swimming pool this weekend. Mr.Garfield was swimming to close to Mr.Mac's feet under water and bang I hit him in the face and part of his nose, some blood was coming out, but he was very brave, see picture of poor Mr.Garfield. I am still very sorry that it happened, but Mr. Garfield is very popular with the girls at the moment in school.
Next week we are going to take it easy, as we also had to do some jobs in the house, helping the girls clearing up some stuff in their bedrooms. By the way Mr.Biscuits is very good making beds and clearing the mess in VT Girl No3 bedroom - he has done a great job of it. For tea we had cheese and ham toasties only because we had a big lunch in the swimming pool in the afternoon. Only a few more weeks before Mr.Biscuits gets his new iPod, oh yes he will also come over for a sleep over again, he can't wait.
