The VT Boys don't do things by halves

Friday evening VT Boy No.2 was unpacking his bag, and setting up his XBox 360 only to find out that he forgot his power pack, we tried to tell him maybe it is best to make a check list before coming to stay for the weekend. Never mind we are never bored we have always plenty to do.

With a packed program the VT Boys started the weekend, Saturday morning we starting to built a new computer, Garfield (VT Boy No.2) built his first computer and what a computer it is, new motherboard, memory, hard drive and new Operating system, the system runs like a dream. We also done up an old Dell laptop which was unable to boot up, but not anymore now that the VT Boys had their hands on it.

After all this building and testing we took the car and drove to Dereham swimming pool, only to find out that the little pool was closed, so we made our way to Morrison's supermarket for some lunch, Mr Garfield had chicken tikka and rice, Mr Biscuits had fish fingers, peas and chips and I had a big breakfast, yummy. After the shopping we played a bit and the boys had the lego out again to make a huge creation (see picture). In the evening we watched S.W.A.T with Colin Farrell and Samuel L Jackson a very good film.

The next morning we had to go to the dump, the get rid of some more rubbish, and for lunch we had chicken dippers and chips with sweet chilli sauce, after our baths we made sausage rolls, and VT Girl No.2 also joined in to lay a hand. Hopefully the swimming pool will be open next time because we all mist our swim.

The VT Boys had a busy schedule this weekend

This weekend the VT Boys had a busy schedule, most of Saturday VT Boy number 3 was helping VT Girl with painting and decorating the VT Girls bedroom, first the wallpaper had to be stripped, walls to be painted and clearing up, it was a tight schedule but we done it, while this was going on VT Boy number 2 was entertaining VT Girl number 3, making towers of wooden bricks and making music on the piano.

For lunch we had home made Fish and Chips, for dinner Chicken, peas, roast potatoes and gravy. In the evening we watched Inside Man with Clive Owen and Denzel Washington.

On Sunday morning we has a early start, going to the dump, picking up wallpaper glue, and picking up VT Girl number 2 from the respite centre. When we came back we quickly put on the Winnie the Poo borders, and had lovely lasagne for lunch. VT Boy number 2 took the opportunity to play on the XBox 360 and chatting with his mates on X Box live. We have also found a new nick name for VT Boy number 3 (Mr. Biscuits).
