The VT Boys love each-other

The VT Boys love spending time together, we do all sorts of things, we like making stuff, playing games and cook lots of food. Over the last few weekends we have spent most indoors because the weather wasn't that great or we just like to spend our time playing games.
The Boys showing off the Sausage rolls
We also have made some sausage-rolls last weekend, a whole bag full, so they can be shared with others, also Mr.Garfield is been showing off his skills at several new video games, Half-Life2, Assessing Creed and the new Black Ops game. Mr.Biscuits has been busy making new virtual machines and turning them in to other machines, with customised skins.

Also Mr.Mac Junior turned up for a weekend spending time with us just to relax a bit after working a busy week at his job at Norwich, he is also spending more time out the office, doing installations onsite. He is very happy with his new job, and is been given a permanent contract.
Mr Garfield happy
This week started the christmas holidays and next week we have Christmas, it has been snowing now for two weeks and it looks like we are getting more. Maybe now is the time we need to remember what Christmas is all about, it is not just for getting presents it is to remember the birth of the son of our father, he must be really proud, Like I am of all my children.
We love each-other

The VT Boys had a easy time

The VT Boys had a easy weekend, we did some chilling and played lots of games this weekend. Mr.Biscuits gave Mr.Mac a nice thank you card for buying his new iPod Nano. Mr.Garfield is very happy with his new screen and game and was very surprised to see Mr.Mac turning up last week with his new game.

For lunch we had Taco's which was very nice, and Mr.Garfield had several helpings. In the afternoon we installed Half Life 2 on the MacBook Pro and Mr.Garfield stormed through the game in no time. Also Mr.Biscuits installed a new virtual machine all on his own, this time he made a Windows XP Professional one. For Dinner we had Tuna bake and ice cream for afters.

The VT Boys had a sleep over

Last weekend The VT Boys had a sleep over, which was great, that mend we had two days of fun, doing all sorts of things. What made it extra special was that Mr.Mac Jr was also present spending the whole day with us. Because it was Mr.Biscuits birthday last week we gave him a birthday cake in the shape of a Nintendo Gameboy, he loved it and we liked the tasted of it.
The VT Boys like building things, and for his birthday Mr.Biscuits received two lego models he had to build, so we got stuck in and within a hours or so we had them build.
For lunch we had Toasties with Ham and Cheese, and Lasagne in the evening with Cheese Cake for afters. The Cheese Cake was made by Mr.Biscuits. Mr.Garfield had is XBox 360 with him showing all the new games he had in store, and all of them the graphics where amazing. Mr Biscuits was still very happy with his iPod Nano and he was busy putting some more music on it. He also managed to put some more photos on the device.
His virtual machine gave up to ghost, but with his technical skills that was rebuild and up and running in no time. In the Evening we watched Wolverine (in one word fantastic).
The next day it was a early start as VT Girl number 3 was awake at 6am, we did not mind as their was more time to play and to do other things. As a surprise we had Chinese take a way for lunch which we all loved very much. In the afternoon we spend playing on the computers and Mr.Garfield was able to take his new 22" LG LED screen home, so he can plug in his Xbox and Computer at the same time and watch all of it in full HD.

The VT Boys had pancakes

A few days ago The VT Boys made some pancakes for tea, as we had a big roast for lunch on Sunday with all the trimmings. Making pancakes is always fun, specially to toss them in the air. We all had several helpings.
It was a special day for Mr.Biscuits as he was given his birthday present a week early, his Apple iPod Nano with touch screen. He loves it and the first thing we did was put some music on it and a few photos - wow that was easy. Mr.Biscuits could not stop playing with it, and on the back it was engraved with (To Mr.Biscuits Happy Birthday)
Next week the VT Boys are staying over for the weekend, Mr. Garfield will bring his XBox 360 and is going to show Mr.Mac all the fantastic new games he has - he can't wait.

The VT Boys tried something new

The VT Boys had great fun yesterday first of all because the weather was bad we played some games on the wonderful Macs we own. Then it was time for lunch and we all had Panini's with Ham and Cheese - lovely.
In the afternoon we made fresh Croissants with ham inside, this was the first time we made them, but they turned out to be okay, next time we are going to make them a bit bigger. Mr.Biscuits ask if we can play some board games - yes we still do this in the VT household, so the monopoly board came out and we had 2 hours of fun. Mr Garfield won by a small margin, but Mr.Mac lost all his money (story of my life).

For tea we had Ham & Cheese Kiev's with mash potatoes and sweetcorn. Next weekend it will be a Sunday we all be together again, and the following weekend Mr.Biscuits will be 9 years old. Is he ever going to give up on the Biscuits? I hope not.

The VT Boys did some Shaking & Baking

The VT Boys did pretty well yesterday, the whole day was filled with playing games and cooking, we had a few hours upstairs playing our favourite games and setting up some new virtual machines so that Mr.Biscuits have his own setup and customise his Windows 7 desktop.

Mr.Garfield was playing his new game on the HP and talking with his friends at the same time working out how they were able to win from the other team. After lunch (Hotdogs with ketchup, onions and mayo) we did some cooking, making a two colour cake, this worked out very well and we all had to sample it more than once.

In the afternoon we watched Toy Story 3, which we all liked very much. For tea we had Shake & Bake Chicken with curly fries.

The VT Boys had some graphics issues

Last weekend the VT Boys had some graphics issues to deal with, first of all the computer Mr.Garfield was using was not working well after updating the graphic drivers. But Mr.Mac had a solution to the problem by supplying a new super duper video card for his computer and all works well again. We also had to move some stuff again in the house, the desk with computer stuff moved to the bedroom upstairs to make some room downstairs. The move was done without any problems and within no time Mr. Biscuits was able to play a game on the computer and Mr Garfield was doing the same on the iPad. (see video as proof)
We also tested out our old PC with a new graphic processor but that didn't work so well, so we gave up in the end and left the whole thing as it was. Mr. Biscuits was investigating as new crime with his new police investigation kit and was happy to show us the progress of his findings on this.
We also found some time to eat something and with had a Magnum ice cream for afters. We did say this weekend was going to be easy, however our weekends never are, they are never boring and we always have plenty to do. Only 24 more days till Mr. Biscuits birthday and we all know what that means to him. (Nano is the word that springs to my mind)

The VT Boys had some accidents

Last week Mr.Garfield was given a 19" LCD Flatscreen so he can play his games better on the computer at home, it was not new but still in very good nick. After having it a few days he installed a new game on his computer only to find out that it not work very well. After getting very frustrated with the computer, he threw his keys but instead hitting the desk, he hit the screen - oops. Never mind accidents can happen.

They say that accidents happen in threes - but in Mr.Garfield's case they come in twos. The second accident happened in the swimming pool this weekend. Mr.Garfield was swimming to close to Mr.Mac's feet under water and bang I hit him in the face and part of his nose, some blood was coming out, but he was very brave, see picture of poor Mr.Garfield. I am still very sorry that it happened, but Mr. Garfield is very popular with the girls at the moment in school.
Next week we are going to take it easy, as we also had to do some jobs in the house, helping the girls clearing up some stuff in their bedrooms. By the way Mr.Biscuits is very good making beds and clearing the mess in VT Girl No3 bedroom - he has done a great job of it. For tea we had cheese and ham toasties only because we had a big lunch in the swimming pool in the afternoon. Only a few more weeks before Mr.Biscuits gets his new iPod, oh yes he will also come over for a sleep over again, he can't wait.

The VT Boys visit the Apple Store again

Today The VT Boys paid a visit to the Apple Store again in Norwich, just to check out the new gear they had in store. Mr.Biscuits has his eyes on a new iPod Nano with Multi Touch screen, when he came in the store that was the first thing he checked out. Of course we all had a go and our first impressions were very good, it was quick and even the photos look fine on the smaller screen.
We moved on to check out the new iPod Touch with front and back camera, you can do facetime calling with it and has a new graphics processor which Mr.Garfield tested out by playing a game he already had on his iPod touch.
After playing with all the toys, we became very thirsty and had some ice cream and chocolate milkshakes, which VT Girl number 3 thought was great. We all drove back home to do some small jobs for VT Lady, clearing up some mess and bring some stuff to the charity shop.
For dinner we had Chicken in White Wine sauce with roasted potatoes and sweetcorn, and yes we always have ice cream for afters. Next week we are going swimming and spend the Sunday together, I am looking forward to it. Oh 5 weeks till Mr.Biscuits gets his Nano - not long to wait.

The VT Boys the complete line-up

It does not happen all the time, but yesterday The VT Boys have been all together for one day, it was a great surprise when they all arrived in one car thanks to Mr.Mac Jr. We all had toasties for lunch with ham and cheese.
In the Afternoon we watched Iron Man 2 on the telly, which we all enjoyed very much. After the film we great fun playing games on the computer and Mr.Mac & Mac. Jr. spend some time talking about all sorts of things, it does not happen they are together that often, however over the last few weeks they have been working in the same building and going to work in one car in the morning.
Mr.Mac. Jr. is enjoying his new job very much, he is only working two to three days a week at the moment but this will all change after Christmas hopefully. In the evening we had our favourite meal, Lasagne and some ice-cream for afters. Next time we are going to the Apple Store to check out the new iPod range.

The VT Boys had a busy day

Yesterday the VT Boys had a busy day, in the morning we drove to Thetford Forrest to have a nice picnic only to find out that the walks and picnic area was closed for harvesting, this did not stop us from having our picnic and have a little walk, the weather was lovely - you must understand we like being out doors.
After our walk we drove to another area we have been before, two and half years ago, before VT Girl No.3 was born. The picture above with Mr.Garfield holding Mr.Biscuits see picture below which was taken two half years ago on the same spot.

In the middle of the field was a big wooden Stag (Lynford Stag) which you can climb on and of course we all had a go.
We drove back home as we had to do some jobs in the garden, the grass had to be cut, and the weeds had to be pulled. We also had to transfer some boxes. Now the Garden looks very nice and hopefully the weather will be good for next week so we can play in it. For dinner we had Fish & Chips and ice-cream for afters.
Mr.Biscuits and Mr.Mac also cleared up some mess under the bed. Mr.Biscuits also had to do a technical job by repairing a old telephone and put it all back together again, which he did very well. Mr.Garfield took the opportunity by playing Need for Speed World online.

Mr.Garfield also has a new video capture card so he can record stuff and put it on YouTube, watch out this space as we will put the video's on this blog.
